4. Sod Delivery and Installation Services
By scheduling sod delivery or installation services with Big Easy Sod, you agree to the following:
- Site preparation — You are responsible for ensuring the installation area is clear of debris, standing water, and major obstructions prior to our arrival unless site preparation services have been included in your agreement.
- Access — You agree to provide our crew with safe and reasonable access to the installation area on the scheduled service date.
- Weather delays — Sod installation may be rescheduled due to severe weather conditions. We will contact you promptly to arrange an alternate date.
- Sod care after installation — Proper watering and maintenance after installation is the responsibility of the property owner. Big Easy Sod provides post-installation care instructions; failure to follow these guidelines may affect sod establishment.
- Product variation — Natural variation in sod coloring, density, and texture is normal and does not constitute a defect.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement or invoice. We reserve the right to require a deposit prior to scheduling large or commercial projects. All balances are due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may be subject to applicable fees.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please contact us at (504) 608-3321 at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover mobilization costs. Deposits on cancelled orders may be non-refundable depending on project status.
7. Limitation of Liability
Big Easy Sod will take reasonable care in performing all services. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for those specific services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, or damage resulting from natural causes outside our control (including drought, flooding, pests, or soil conditions).
